Balkrishna Sharma uses scrap of Iron, Copper, Brass, Aluminum for his creations. It demands a lot of flamboyance, sensitivity and vision to visualize a piece of scrap as a useful medium and convert it into an art form by welding and molding methods. A pretty close and harmonious observation of modern and contemporary art and sculpture has rendered Balkrishna Sharma's insight a broad and penetrating yet a superfluous edge and turned him into a diligent mentor.

Whatever has been discarded, rejected and made useless after a period of time by the society and is spread as metal scrap is his creative medium. He collects it, caresses its inherent quality and beauty and moulds it into an alluring sculpture. For years, his metallic art forms have been telling 'bout the energy that was injected into them. They are loud and clear when they speak of the tradition, rhythm, resonance that existed in them before they were created, brought together and welded by the mere touch of an artistic synchronization by Balkrishna Sharma.

Thus, the sculptures by Balkrishna Sharma are the idolization's of possible and impossible artistic or say sculpturistic statements. The metal forms are a melodious combination of imagination, beauty and innovation which imparts excitement to the new dimensions of creativity.
